All about mailing lists at Monkeycosm.net?

Monkeycosm.net can host mailing lists from a half dozen users to hundreds of users. Mailing lists are managed by a software package called Mailman. All mailing lists hosted at monkeycosm.net share a namespace (meaning the listname must be unique across all hosted mailing lists) and have as their primary address listname@lists.monkeycosm.net. The number of mailing lists you may have is determined by your account level.

Contact the admins with the following information; name for the mailing list, what email address (if any) you would like besides listname@lists.monkeycosm.net to work for the list (this alias should be at a domain hosted by monkeycosm.net and for which you have permission to use) (for more complex setups, talk to the admins), and the name and email address for the account that should be the admin for the mailing list.

So how do I configure my mailing list?

With your admin password go the admin interface of your list (look for the "Listname administrative interface" link at the bottom of the list info page). There is a good amount of help built into the interace. If you need more documentation, Mailman has manuals for and users. If you have further questions, send them to the admins.
